Our raw material - the Food Ice - is 100% produced with treated and filtered water from the public network.
In the production process, the water is submitted to a treatment circuit called reverse osmosis, consisting of cartridge filtration, decalcification and ultraviolet sterilisation.
The treated water enters the production process through the machines, where the ice is formed.
In the next phase, the ice is unloaded into closed silos, making it available for packaging.
The ice is packed in low density polyethylene bags, with a capacity of 1kg, 2Kg and 20Kg, duly identified, being subsequently inserted into transport bags and palletized.
Both packaging, bagging and palletising are fully robotised methods, which allows us an absolute level of hygiene, without human intervention.
After packaging, the product is subject to an internal control by sampling, on the packaging line.
In accordance with the routine analytical plan, and in order to monitor the quality and food safety of the final product - Ice - samples are periodically sent to external laboratories that are suitable for controlling the quality of water intended for human consumption, which have been designated by ERSAR (Regulatory Authority for Water and Waste Services) and accredited by the NP EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 standard.

Our manufacturing process guarantees high quality ice: transparent, odourless, durable, compact, tough, dry, reliable and well packed.
Our ice is stored in industrial freezing chambers with remote temperature control. Our distribution vehicles are also equipped with a freezing system, ensuring the quality of the product until its destination.
The average conservation temperature of ice is -18C.
